Information used by the service

PlaidSpec processes your account identifier and email address, saved designs and palettes, uploaded files, membership records, and technical information needed to operate the service. Email-account passwords are stored as salted hashes. Authentication links and sessions use expiring tokens.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, keep your workspace available, generate requested design options, deliver verification and reset emails, manage membership access, and diagnose service errors. The site records aggregate daily counts of visits, studio opens, example opens, pilot inquiries, and AI generations.

Service providers

The site uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare storage services. ChatGPT sign-in is handled through OpenAI. When you use AI generation, the requested design context is sent to OpenAI. Resend delivers verification and password-reset emails. Stripe processes subscription payments and billing-portal actions. PlaidSpec stores membership status and Stripe identifiers; payment-card entry is handled by Stripe.

Cookies and browser storage

A secure session cookie keeps an email account signed in. Browser storage supports local interface preferences and avoids counting repeated actions within a session. Signing out clears the email session. Third-party sign-in and checkout pages have their own privacy practices.

Retention and requests

Saved workspace and membership data remain stored to support your account and billing. Expired authentication tokens and sessions cannot be used to sign in. Contact Info@PlaidSpec.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your account information. Some records may need to be retained for billing, dispute handling, or applicable requirements.

Your design privacy

Workspace access is tied to the account you use. Do not share credentials or upload material you do not have permission to process. Export a backup when you need a local copy of your work.
