The service

PlaidSpec is a browser-based tool for developing woven patterns, colorways, and design specifications. Features and availability may change. Digital previews and AI suggestions require your review.

Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials private and use the account associated with your workspace. Email and ChatGPT accounts currently have separate designs and billing records. Do not attempt to access another user’s work or interfere with the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Professional membership is a recurring subscription at $29.99 USD per month. Stripe checkout displays the payment total and billing terms before you confirm. Manage payment information and cancellation through the Stripe billing portal linked from Membership. Review its confirmation for the effective cancellation date. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests; this page does not promise a particular refund outcome.

Your designs and references

PlaidSpec does not claim ownership of your original uploaded designs. You give the service permission to store, process, display, and export your content as needed to provide the features you use. You must have the necessary rights to uploaded artwork and references. Third-party standards and trademarks, including Pantone, remain subject to their owners’ rights.

AI and production review

AI output may be inaccurate, similar to other work, or unsuitable for your brief. Review the pattern type, yarn colors, construction, and rights before use. A pattern sheet is a development brief, not a mill approval or guarantee of manufacturability. Confirm physical color, yarn, weave, density, shrinkage, finishing, and sampling with your production partners.

Support and account requests

Email Info@PlaidSpec.com for support, billing issues, or account deletion requests. Export a backup of work you need before requesting deletion.
